Texture: Finding Layers of God's Goodness in Creating
In the beginning, God created everything and he saw that it was Good. What if we could all change our perspectives to see the goodness that radiates from him, everywhere we look? This is a project that practices just that.
This project is for you if you have been wanting to have more time to be creative. It is up to you how much time you would like to devote to this.
You can do it at your own pace, involve your kids, or gather a group of friends and meet about four times a month (once a week) to work on the art project and talk about what you've been hearing from God. Like a paint and sip night, but much better (*in our humble opinion)!
If you need to shake up your quiet time/time with God, this might just be what you need to think about things from a fresh perspective.
This book is broken up into four sections. If you follow the suggested timeline, each section is a week long.
For this project, you will be creating four texture art canvases using joint compound and various tools. At the end of this project, you will have four pieces displaying your growth and serving as a beautiful reminder of God's work in you during this time. Everything you need is included in the box, including the book.
Remember, the purpose of this is NOT perfection. It is a process of growth and, most importantly, it's designed to be a fun experience, so enjoy it!
